This work is based on my personal experience of parting with a beloved pet, created as an artistic expression to bring healing to those suffering from pet loss. Using cloisonné enamel, I materialized memories with my pet as if they were paintings, and likened death to a “journey.” The design incorporates the narrative and interactivity of a picture book, allowing the viewer to open and close it like turning pages, enjoying both the story and the tactile experience. The piece moves like a folding screen, with the theme of connecting happy memories of the past to hope for the future.
