This work is based on the memories and emotions I carried during my high school years. At that time, I was troubled by my relationships with school and classmates, as well as by anxieties about the future, which deepened my longing for freedom. Sometimes, I would deliberately take a bus heading in the opposite direction of school, not caring where it would go, simply to savor the feeling of a free adventure, if only for that moment. In this piece, I used cloisonné with silver wire, taking the shape of clouds as the motif to depict transitions of weather such as rain, thunder, and sunshine. I also delicately expressed the way raindrops on the bus window merge and flow down. These elements embody the sense of freedom and uncertainty I felt, along with the fleeting release that came with those moments.
